For more than 125 years, Edwardsville United Methodist Church has been a beacon of faith, love, and outreach in the Georgetown, Indiana community. We are a prayer-powered, Jesus-centered, and mission-focused congregation with a heart for people, passion for worship, and a deep commitment to loving God and our neighbors.
Generosity – We give our time, talents, and resources to bless others.
Caring – We seek to embody God’s love in everyday relationships.
Vibrancy – We embrace joy and energy in worship and service.
Authenticity – We show up as we are, and accept others as they are.
Support – We lift one another up in faith, life, and prayer.
Mission – We live out our faith through action, outreach, and local connection.
At EUMC, we are part of the United Methodist Church, rooted in the historic Christian faith and guided by grace, scripture, reason, and tradition. We believe:
God’s love is for everyone—no exceptions.
Jesus Christ offers us hope, purpose, and new life.
The Church exists not for itself, but to serve the world.
Faith is a journey, and questions are welcome.
We practice open communion, value personal and social holiness, and are continually growing in what it means to follow Christ.
Founded over 125 years ago, Edwardsville UMC has been a cornerstone of the local community, adapting to meet new needs while remaining faithful to the gospel.
The Epicenter, our original sanctuary, now houses our contemporary worship gathering, “Included at the Epicenter.” This creative, relaxed service features live music, a meal, and space for authentic connection. It’s a reminder that while buildings age, the Spirit continues to move in fresh ways.
