“My call to ministry is a rope of many different strands wrapped with the power of God’s Grace and forgiveness.
I truly believe that each person in the family of the church is called to be involved in some manner of ministry and we, the church, need to encourage each other in that ministry. I also believe that each aspect of ministry has an invitational portion to it, a “come and join me as we make a difference” invitation to others. Each moment is an opportunity to make disciples of Jesus. Being a presence for Christ in the community is an important part of the pastor’s job. I have a heart and passion for Missions, Crisis Ministry and the Police and Fire Chaplaincy. I enjoy serving the Redbird Community, Haiti, and Native American Missions as well as several community public service programs and I have worked with CHAMP camp for 18 years (a camp for children with respiratory needs). While these areas are vital to the church and my call, worship is my center. I see the time of worship as the place for the community/family of the church to gather and be in relationship with God and each other. I believe that living our faith with Christ should be an exciting adventure. My wife, Kim and I have two sons, Ben, Mike and wife Morgan.”
