Pastor Cindy’s April 30th Epistle

Pastor Cindy’s April 30th Epistle

New News/Information

Ø Changes in the Sanctuary for Worship: We are going to the return to some normalcy beginning this weekend – Sunday, May 2. We have consulted with the Floyd County Department of Health. This decision was approved in our Administrative Council Meeting on Tuesday, April 27.

Ø We will remove the tape from the pews.  You may now sit in every pew.  If you have not had your vaccination, you may still want to maintain some distance or be sure to wear a mask.

Ø We will put hymnals, pew registration pads, pencils etc. back in the pew racks.  Beginning this Sunday, please register your attendance on the pew pads when you arrive at your seat for worship.  Be sure to make note of visitors in your row and be sure to greet them either prior to the start of worship or after worship.

Ø We will continue to wear masks for singing until we receive instructions that it is safe to remove them.

Ø We will celebrate Holy Communion this weekend with actual elements.  Bread and Juice will be given to you by communion stewards who will be wearing gloves and masks.  Those who are unable to leave their seat will be served by Pastor Cindy and the liturgist.

Ø This move forward is occurring to help us return to some state of normal and because we believe that most everyone has been vaccinated.

Ø We look forward to seeing you in worship if you have not had the opportunity to do so yet.
